Choosing
Which insert is for me
Three inserts, three different jobs. The neckline decides, not the size.
The Sculpt Insert
The default, and the one to buy first. Thickest of the three at the base, tapering to nothing at the top edge. Builds the most volume and gives the most lift.
Wear it under: a t-shirt, a knit, a bodycon dress, anything with a normal neckline. Skip it under: very fine silk in bright light, where the base edge can read.
The Invisible Insert
Thinner and wider. Spreads the same lift across a broader base instead of concentrating it, and is feathered on all four sides.
Wear it under: fine knit, silk, anything clingy, anything photographed with flash. Skip it if: your priority is volume rather than shape — it gives less of the first.
The Plunge Insert
Cut on the diagonal. Sits low and to the side, pushing volume inward to build a centre line, with nothing creeping above a deep neckline.
Wear it under: plunge, wrap, halter, deep V. Skip it under: a crew neck — the angled cut has nothing to work against and you lose the shape.
Sticky bras versus inserts
An insert needs something to sit in, or skin to sit on. A sticky bra is the whole garment. If your dress is backless and strapless, the bra is simpler. If you are wearing your own bra and want more from it, the insert is the answer.
Can I wear two at once
Yes, and people do. A sticky bra with a Sculpt Insert layered inside gives the most volume of anything we sell. It is also the warmest, so think about the room before you commit.
The honest answer for most people
Buy the Sculpt Insert in your cup size. It covers the majority of what a wardrobe throws at you, and it is the one we would replace first if we lost everything.
