How to wear

Five minutes the first time, thirty seconds after that. The order matters more than the technique.

Start with clean, dry skin

No moisturiser, no body oil, no fake tan that is still developing. Adhesive silicone grips skin, not the film on top of it. If you have just showered, give yourself ten minutes.

If you use body lotion daily, wipe the area with a dry flannel first. That one step is the difference between an insert that holds all night and one that slides at hour three.

Peel from the corner, not the middle

The backing film comes away cleanly from an edge. Pulling from the centre stretches the adhesive and leaves a dull patch that never grips as well again. Keep the film — it is what you store the insert on.

Place it low, then lift

This is the step everyone gets wrong. Put the bottom edge of the insert against the underside of the breast first, low and slightly to the outside. Then press upward and inward as you smooth the rest down.

Placing it high and pressing down gives you coverage. Placing it low and lifting gives you shape. Same piece, completely different result.

Press for ten seconds

Flat palm, firm and even, all the way to the edges. Adhesive silicone needs warmth and pressure to bond. Ten seconds now saves you adjusting it in a bathroom later.

Dress, then check in a mirror with real light

Check the neckline in the light you will actually be in, not bathroom downlights. If you can see a top edge, the insert is sitting too high — peel it back and reset it lower. It will take the second placement without losing grip.

Taking it off

Lift one corner and peel slowly, downwards, following the curve of the skin. Never pull straight out. Wash it that night rather than the next morning, and it will be dry and ready by the time you need it.
